October 10 - Area teens gathered at the Pittsford (NY) Barnes and Noble to read in order to support the May 2010 Teen Book Festival.

Authors from the Rochester Area Children's Authors & Illustrators group who are participating in the Rochester Children's Book Festival went to various city schools as part of the Festival to Go.

November 5 - As part of the Rochester Children's Book Festival, Laurie Calkhoven visited Rochester, NY.  Several of us (from left:  Barbara Underhill, VVV, Laurie, Linda Sue Park, MJ Auch, Sibby Falk, Andrea Page, and Carol Pembroke, with Herm Auch kneeling) met for dinner at Plum Garden.
